Summer Shrimp & Sausage Undone Kabobs

With spring weather finally coming back I wanted to do a light fresh kabob style dish without bbq sauce. These nice fresh flavours with a bit of a kick that lets the natural flavours of the sausage and shrimp come through.

1 package of peeled raw shrimp
4 hot Italian sausage
2 bell peppers
1 small zucchini
1 small onion

1 tsp all purpose simply organic dressing
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp EVOO
4 tbsp portugallo hot sauce
1 tsp crushed garlic

Chop veggies, slice sausage and mix all together with the seasoning in a bowl. Heat up BBQ to medium heat. Skip skewering and throw the kabob ingredients on a bbq safe grill tray¬†so you don’t loose pieces through the grill. Cook for about 5 minutes or until you start to see grill marks, flip and grill another 4-5 minutes until shrimp is pink, sausage is cooked through.

If you don’t have a grilling tray, something like this one is great for bbq veggies or doing undone kabobs. I wish I had a little bigger one like this grilling tray I found on amazon.
